i get them once and awhile. how do yours go? i just ask because i never really knew if what i was experiencing was a panic attack, or if it was something else.
I don't know if I would necessarily call them panic attacks, but I have definitely suffered bouts of extreme terror, and used to have incredible social paranoia. What I would recommend is meditation and self-examination sessions. In most cases, if you are having panic attacks there is an underlying sub-conscious cause. The best meditation that I've experimented with involves going through every aspect of your life(what you own, what you do for a living, the clothes you wear, the music you listen to, the people you surround yourself with, anything that triggers an emotion, and your memories), and asking yourself "Is this who I am? Is this what I am?" In addition, asking questions about the same things, but in regards to whether it is something you want, something you need, or neither. Other than that...get a ten strip and eat it bit by bit in increasing doses over the course of 24 hours(something like 1-3-6, eating more every 8 hours or so). You can't help but tear your "self" apart. Personally, it seems more significant to me

Thank you very much Ian. I really appreciate you taking the time to tell me this stuff. It really honestly means a lot to me. At this point, not having any health insurance, I am really looking at ways to do it as naturally as possible and you've given me some great ideas. What I want to do first is rid myself of the things that give me so much stress and hopefully I will see progress after that happens. I am glad to hear that you have made progress in changing your life. I hope you continue to do well. Thank you again for the advice. You should email me sometime - alyce @ uwm.edu
