I have been pondering whether to move or not. Now that my roommate is leaving at the end of February, I am not not sure if I should stay. The wierd thing is that one week ago I found out that one of the Assitant Managers in my old store and hometown of Reno, NV would be leaving her position. ahh, to save or not to save money, that is the question :-)

i think either decision could work, so i am not really commenting to give you any opinions on that. given my recent track record, i am no more likely to see you in so cal than in Reno. and yeah, having friends around can make a big difference (i'd be more likely to try and stay in NYC right now if i had lots of close friends here).

funny how our hometowns have such a magnetic pull on our lives, isn't it? it's like that old riddle about the man starting on four legs as a baby, walking on two legs as a grownup, and ending up with a "third leg" cane as he comes full circle in life. when we depart, there's always something pulling us back.

anyway, i just wanted to say hi, it's about 10 degrees outside (yay, it was 9 deg when i started writing this), and i miss California like i miss crack. and you know me and crack ;-)

I'm going to stay, so if you move back to the area, including bakersfield, we have to do more stuff. Maybe go on a summer trip to Yosemitie or something. I realize I do have friends here, I just work alot and should be more proactive about seeing them! Hugs.

bakersfield is my first stop, i'll be there at least a few months. a low-key summer trip would be awesome. i have only been to Yosemite once i think...and we didn't really stay around there. I will make more effort to come down too =) ciao!
