all along, we have planned on my Grandpa to walk me down the aisle as he is the closest thing i have to my Daddy! my uncle replied to my e-mail today saying he thinks it's unwise for Grandpa to make the trip... so that leaves me wondering who i can have walk me down the aisle... i said that i wanted my mom to walk me down if Grandpa wasn't able ( Read more... )

i have one of his ties... we were going to let my grandpa wear it as it matched my colors perfectly! since he can't be there, either... i will have it around my bouquet! :) i do have a locket with a pic of he & mom! i may put that in there somehow, too!

Can your mom walk you down the aisle and light the unity candle while she is there?

I also agree with the idea that was brought up of having a locket with a picture of your dad in your bouquet. That is such a neat idea. You can get the picture frame charms at any craft store and tie it to your bouquet.

I so wish I could be there! I can't wait to see pictures!

Oh, can you email me your address so I can mail your necklace and hope it gets to you in time. I hope you like it. However, if it isn't what you were hoping for or you don't like it, don't feel obligated to wear it. I don't want you to get it and think... I really don't want to wear this...My feelings won't be hurt at all if you choose not to wear it!:)
