Goodbye, Dickens

This afternoon my kitty companion of 16 years passed away. He had been treated earlier this week for liver/gallbladder inflammation and a possible urinary tract infection. I mentioned that he had been "chewing" at his water, and the vet (after a few tries) managed to open his mouth to see that he had an abscess. The plan was to treat that after he

Thanks you. In a way I'm glad I had insomnia lately, because Dickens would snuggle next to me and I would cover him with part of my throw. He would purr and grin and would fall asleep next to me.

He was a helluva cat. I miss him lots.

Yes. I'm glad you gave him to me. He was the best Xmas present ever. And he must have been so stressed, because he never bit again! Flailed and poked me with his pokey claws, but never bit.

He was such a love, and such a brat, and such a sweetie. He was all kinds of cat.
