Looking for a Roommate and Starting Job...Wish Me Luck

I've put up roommate ads on Craigslist, Roomster, and another site. I'm really hoping to find something that works out. I also start the "live" portion of the call center work next week, which is really freaking me out. I hope that I'll be able to manage phones and upset people without freaking out. Deep breaths.

Good luck with the roommate hunting.

Speaking from fifteen years of customer service experience: 99% of the people on the other end of the line just want to feel that you care about their problem. If you can give 'em that feeling, whether you're sincere or faking it, you've got it made. The remaining 1% of jerks, just be polite and never, ever take anything they say personally.

I'm not going to say customer service is a great job, but when you can help someone, it can actually be satisfying.

It's just the sheer nervousness about trying to remember everything when someone is waiting on the line. I survived the first day. Yay.

More worried about the $$ and the living situation, but so it goes...
