Strange Painful "Headaches"

This is the second evening I've had an intense pain at the back of my skull, like a sudden ice-cream headache, more painful and a bit more diffuse. There's definitely a focus to it. It starts where the back of the skull begins to crest and then curve back--the occipital bone?--to meet the spinal chord. It them radiates around my head in both

sounds like an extreme form of muscle tension headache or a pinched cervical nerve.

It's weird in that it just starts out of nowhere. Bam! Pain.

They called back, but I would have to come in later in the week. I decided if it comes back again, I'll go as a walk-in. Nothing yesterday or tonight, thank goodness. Just normal headachiness.
