FMA stuff
A complete FMA thinking post. With spoilers for the series. The entire series I think.
So, I'm only as far along with the story as the dub is on [adult swim]. The latest episode they showed was Episode 39, that one where Martel told Al and Ed about the special ops who went in and basically massacred the people of Ishvar. (That whole scene nearly made me burst into tears.)
Anyways, so I was watching my dvd of "Captured Souls" and was thinking to myself. Lust is a very confusing person. I mean, she wants to be a human but in that episode with Lujon she obviously didn't like when those memories were coming back to her. She didn't like the feelings she was having. That's all part of being human. So does she really understand the whole concept of being a human? She won't be able to do that freaky thing with her nails and heaven forbid she might have a conscience! You know that fear that Gluttony showed when he first saw "the bad place" that Greed used to be in? Well fear is a totally normal human feeling. Get used to it.
And then there was, emphasis on was, Greed who didn't want to be human. Hell no. He wanted to be like AL. Right? Yeah, I think... Oh, I'm too lazy to go watch my tape. But if I remember correctly, he saw Al as being practically immortal and he wanted that secret. My personal opinion was that Greed was closer to an immortal state than Al because honestly... only Ed would figure out how to kill THE ULTIMATE SHIELD!!! And it's not that hard to break a blood seal once you figure out where it is. I mean, granted yeah... you do have to find it, but still.
Damn... I'm suddenly filled with this desire to write stuff from the views of some of the homunculi. Even Gluttony. *snickers*
Also... on fm_alchemist someone had said something like, "You won't believe where Pride's Ouroboros tattoo is!" and so that had me thinking. I do know who Pride is. That happened by pure accident. But so of course my first thought was a gutter thought and then later I thought, "WTF!!! What if it's under his patch?!?!?! *dies*"
Another thing... does anyone else but me sense a bit of a lisp or something with the Fuhrer? Or perhaps it just comes and goes... I dunno.
OMG! Confession time! I had a dream the other night... about a happily married, doting father!!! THAT'S RIGHT! MAES HUGHES!!!
What? It's because he's all smexy in "Captured Souls" cause he's all business and serious and just hot! So there!
Yeah, I think that's all. At least, I should hope that's all.
