You know you're a JROTC geek if....
The stars represent mine
- You have a Live Journal and more than 80% of what you write about has to do with JROTC
- Most of your friends (if not all of them) are in JROTC**
- You actually look forward to the days when you have to wear your uniform**
- On day when you don't have to wear your uniform, you wear your unit shirt, your flight shirt, or your PT shirt**
- You spend a half an hour (or more) the night before preparing your uniform for uniform day**
- Ever day after school you have something to do for JROTC**
- You start saying "yes ma'am/sir" "no ma'am/sir" and "no excuse ma'am/sir" to your female/male teachers/friends**
- If you're a female, your hair is cut short so it actually fits in your flight cap
- You can name the chain of command in your unit**

- when you're turning around, you do an about face.**
- You do flanking movements when you're walking down the hallways.**
- You call everyone by their last name**
- Your boyfriend/girlfriend/crush is in JROTC.
- You yell at people for stepping on your newly shinned uniform shoes**
- You've ruined at least one pair of tennis shoes from drilling in them on days when you're not in uniform
- You can read military time as well as standard time and you don't have to count on your fingers to know that 18:43 is the same as 6:42 p.m.**
- You go on every singe JROTC sponsored trip**
- You are in every single JROTC after school activity or club**
- You still represent the first flight you were in
- You know everyone in your unit by their last name, but you don't know most of the cadet's first names.**
- You've had a crush on your flight commander, your group commander, or anyone in a high leadership position.**
- You have more service/activity points than any cadet in your grade level
- You actually understand and can relate to this list.*****
