I watched a movie in German the other day- Im Juli/In July. Even though they talk rather fast I found it sometimes quite easy to understand. At one point the subtitles missed a question asked so that the person answering would have sounded super random had I not heard and understood the question in German. I really appreciate Romans chapter 7. I often struggle with Paul's writings because it seems like he's often self-righteously yelling at me. But in Romans 7 I see that he's merely a fellow traveler trying to help me out. He knows how hard it is.

We decided to read through Romans for a start.
I read just the introduction yesterday and made a list of the things it says about who God is and what He does.
So far?
*He calls people.
*He sets people apart (at least He set Paul apart).
*He loves.
*He has a son whose name is Jesus.

Those are pretty big, right?
