Woke up from a post-2nd-anniversary-dinner-nap to grade papers. I haven't made much time for research this week as I've been sleeping in a great deal and trying to find a good rhythm for the few lame classes I've left to take (formalities in my department, really). Also I scored a free lunch (the best kind in grad school) only moments after ( Read more... ) -
but all of a sudden...the missing piece began to grow!
i positively hate that 90% of what i've been working on involves stuff that has to be aged -- 2 weeks, 2 days,3 days, whatever. I realized I lacked foresight in this department at this stage of my project, but how was I to know that a 5th-year would have my sample for 4 weeks without taking a spectrum of it? 1. signs of throat infection, but i don't mind since i spent my "hurricane" holiday doing mad errands with carlos (for once) - i left the med center to stay in sugarland and had a million "sugarland" things to do. seriously, mad catching up to do. we even went to the old gamestop where we imagined we were training video heroes when new employees ( Read more... ) -
