Brighton was indeed sunny today, had a lovely walk along the prom by the calm sea with that strangely beautiful bright, yet weak, winter light (the kind of light Clearlake wrote the song about I guess). Hopefully it'll hang around for a few days so we can hit the town. :)
stop replying to my messages! it means i re-read the post and spot all my stupid mistakes... im like a serial bracket opener but not closer... dreadful
i think im going to need to change my train plans... dad has convinced me to change at blackfriars but the trains from there doesnt go to hove? stupid... so im gonna try to make it to victoria... is hove before or after brighton? these things confuse me...
Hove is straight after Brighton (or the next stop after Hayward's Heath if it goes direct to Hove). If you're changing trains at Brighton it'll be on the far right platform as you get off the train and face the turnstiles. They'll all stop there, so you can get on anything heading to Portsmouth/Southampton etc. You can't go far wrong, but any problems, call me. :)
Paul: They're not the kind of stories you can really tell. Holly: Too dirty? Paul: Yeah, I suppose they're dirty, too, but only incidentally. Mainly they're angry, sensitive, intensely felt, and that dirtiest of all dirty words - promising. Or so said The Times Book Review, October 1, 1956.
