so last night (Tuesday) after evening prayer i went to amigos with a guy! i know i know you are thinking what shannon went somewhere alone with a guy! let me explain...i was venting the other night how frustrated i've become with the whole dating thing here at concordia, i don't understand why two people of the opposite sex can not go on a "date"

I am excited about the Pumpkin Patch...should be lots of fun!!! Glad you had a fun time last night I think that is what i need sometime, a guy friend to go out and eat a ice cream with me so I can talk to them....it has been stressful this first quarter of school if you know what I mean.

That's the tricky thing about dating, I think. First, for you, (and I may be slightly off on this, because I haven't seen you in FOREVER) a lot of your friends are married/engaged/with someone for a significant period of time. It's hard to see that and be not dating at all and be okay/happy about it. I'm glad to hear you had a good time with your friend (and saved lots o' $$$$ on smoothies!).
