Oh, man, Liz, I had so many air mattress issues when I lived in L.A. (because I was too lazy and cheap to buy a real mattress, which turned out to be a wise move), but they were surprisingly comfy to sleep on. The one I had doesn't sound as nice as yours, so I ended up just buying a new one when I had a hole in mine. I hope you figure out your issue.

Exactly! I even HAVE a queen-sized bed and an awesome (real) mattress, but they're up north--and there's no way I'm hauling them down here until I'm good and sure I'm not moving for awhile.

I hope you figure out your issue.

Thanks! I can't hear the leak, so tonight may be my chance to find it, or maybe I'll just give up and sleep on the couch for a few nights. Eh.

Chuck is completely rocking my world this season, as is The Big Bang Theory. I adore evil!Wil Wheaton, which is who Tyson dressed up as for Halloween.

That is BRILLIANT, because he totally DOES look like Tyson! HA!

(P.S. I think Tyson has one of those familiar faces--I see guys who look like him all the time, which may be weird since we've never met, but whatever.)

Comment butting to say that dressing up as evil Wil Wheaton is awesome. AWESOME!
Also, Liz: *sigh* You missed so much great angst. And some pretty hot make out scenes. But whatevs.

Well, I completely believe you about this. So maybe someday I'll be in the mood for some joyfully angsty fantasy TV, and in that case I think I could probably pick up at the Frog Moment (though really, I should start from the beginning, right?). Or maybe I will just totally enjoy watching it with you whenever I visit, because watching L&C with you is awesome. :)

I love TBBT and heart it like whoa, but I know there are some people who are just not into it at all and don't find the jokes all that interesting or complex.

And I think this is reasonable--the joke style isn't anything new or even all that fresh, but I think it's executed really well, which is a whole other virtue, you know?

My favourite scenes are when Sheldon and Penny talk.

I enjoy them, as well, though I haven't been watching long enough to see THAT many Sheldon/Penny scenes (and, internet, I do NOT consider myself a Sheldon/Penny shipper, though I see the theoretical appeal).

Have you also not seen S4? What I'm really asking is--have you not met the two female characters they've added, who incidentally were promoted to series regulars this week? Because I enjoy them deeply, and I'm glad they shifted the gender ratio a bit.

Man, how long does it take you to drive to work?

I think I somehow volunteered to do a dessert for Thanksgiving too, which will also be my first time. I got a recipe from a coworker for pumpkin cake which doesn't seem TOO hard, so hopefully I can handle it.

I give myself an hour and a half, though the actual trip averages a little over an hour--it's about thirty miles, plus traffic, blah blah.

Go Erica go! You can totally handle pumpkin cake--as long as you're not personally puree-ing the pumpkin from scratch, I'm sure you'll be fine.
