Congrats on job! I admit to having been a bit concerned because fabulous internships, while fabulous, don't usually pay all that well. And I want you to be kept in all the food and things that you need! So yay for money, and flexibility!

2. When you're right, my friend, you are RIGHT. I've been okay so far--I've been living on my savings, which I hate using but which are of course for exactly this kind of situation--but paying rent, it turns out, burns through the cash pretty fast. (SURPRISE!) I'm thrilled at the idea of putting money back into my accounts.

LA for now, but it's the kind of thing that I can do anywhere once I'm certified. So, should it come to that, I could SAT-ize Bay Area kids as well.

Sorry to say that I'm hoarding my as-yet-theoretical Jane-as-tree-topper photos for my own post, but do you want other decorating-y Action Jane photos? (P.S. Have been pondering your suggestion of painting Jane with sparkly nail polish, but am concerned that nail polish remover might, um, remove her face. What do you think?)

We've actually started hanging out in the living room, which we never do, entirely because we're so taken with it. Pretty pretty!

(Also, um, we talk to it--her, actually, because it's not like we're bringing some random GUY tree to come live with us for a month--like she's our fifth roommate. We're weird. But charming!)

Same. I've been keeping a stiff upper lip so far, but I'll admit that this week, I may have said to the screen, "Show, I think you overestimate the extent to which I care about this case! Or any case! CAN'T A GIRL GET A LITTLE LAB FAMILY TIME?" But I am READY for Brennan and her tears and probably a killer Christmas cliffhanger, oh gosh please no, man.
