I think that S5 is absolutely my favorite season of Buffy, but I don't know that I'll ever be able to watch The Body again. It's so amazing, and yet it just KILLS ME DED.
OH HOW I WISH I wasn't flying to edmonton (this message coming to you from changeover in Calgary) because you are saying all the sorts of awesome things I had hoped you would.
Skype soon, though, right? After Christmas? It feels like AGES.
I adore S5, despite (because of?) how heart-hurty it is. But I still want to have words with FX and TNT for airing reruns of Buffy S5 and Angel S3 at the same time that one summer, because man, that is a depressing television combination right there.
The hardest thing in this world is to live in it. Be brave. Live.
Thanks for the heads-up, Miss B - I did see some of S5, but when it first aired and not since. I do remember it being, as someone else said, a whole lot of heart-hurty, though I have to admit you're only headed for more at this point. And Anya is generally awesome, yes. :-)
Hey, when do you want to get together? And are you by any chance going to the late service at First Pres tomorrow? B/c Bobbie and I *are*. (Shock, I know.) But MERRY CHRISTMAS in any case.

You know, this is slowly dawning on me--I guess things are just different from here on out, aren't they?
MERRY CHRISTMAS! I just emailed you re: church, but I do definitely want to get together (later this week?), and I hope you have a great day tomorrow with, I assume, the fam!
I want to watch it all again. But I can't. Just can't! Too many other shows to catch up on.
It IS an effort, I'll give you that. I'm really enjoying it, but there's just SO MUCH of it. Also, I want you to keep watching the shows I want you to watch...so keep going. :)
Will think fond thoughts as you sit through all the non-Presbyterian times. (I've resigned myself that I will probably never/not anytime soon attend either the candlelight service OR the everyone-gets-to-be-in-the-Christmas-pageant Christmas pageant, which I think is a hilarious idea.

I know--what does it say about me that my favorite episodes were by far the most depressing. Ah, well. It's what Joss does, I suppose.
