So, a bit of context:
1) I'm at my parents' house. They're not around, having taken off for a month-long round-the-country road trip; my friend Cathye is house-sitting, taking care of the cats, etc. All is well so far.
2) Recently, a new cat has appeared on the scene in my parents' neighborhood--he has to be feral, because I've never seen a

I know! Alex in particular was clearly putting out some WTF? vibes. In his own home, poor guy.
Is this the point when one calls Animal Control or Humane Society or....someone?
Yes and no. If I hadn't been leaving and if I knew where to find this cat, I'd have called this morning. Once I'm back up there AND as soon as I see him again, I'm going to call Animal Control. (I don't know whether the Humane Society does kitty trapping. Though there might be a feral cat organization that does; I should look into it.) Because this? Is insane.

He totally is. I might sort of like him if I weren't terrified of him...and if he weren't making a habit of beating up my cats. So, maybe not so much.

Heh, I forgot about that. Yeah, this one isn't one to hang around; he's pretty scary no matter who you are.
(Your cat was nice, though.)
Well, thanks. :) He's a good starter cat for non-animal people: friendly but not too friendly.
