Syntax. I know your pain. (You have no idea how happy I am that I no longer have to take Syntactic Theory or Phonological Theory, yes. )

The class has two redeeming factors: the professor is awesome, and there is not going to be a test of any kind, ever.

Other than that, I kind of wish it would die in a fire.

Awesome professors can make all the difference. My intro to phonology class would have been a complete disaster except the professor was amazing and all of the exams were take-home.
