Was just talking to AW about crayons.

All i can think of now is that episode of Mr Rogers where they showed crayons being made. I remember, as a child, all I could think was "those look SOOOO tasty".

It truly is the scientific perversion of the process of natural selection that has allowed me to reach adulthood.

I saw that episode of Mr. Rogers as a kid, and I thought the same thing at the time. :)

As for me, I remember the one on Sesame Street. Cause I remember orange crayons being made, not yellow.

That seems to be the general opinion. I'm glad I'm not alone

I think they're made to look yummy. Kinda like those damned markers that smell like fruit and stuff. I think the marketers hated kids and were looking for a way to poison them. "Here, kids, these smell like fruit! Eat them and DIE!"
Wouldn't candy scented have worked better? What kids want to eat fruit? Surely none that I've ever met. . .
