[Red, with Pikachu on his shoulder as usual, raises a hand in greeting.] Hey, Leaf. It's weird huh? It's been that long since we got our first Pokémon. Blastoise looks great. You kept him in good shape.

[He tilts his head and folds his arms.] I feel kinda bad. Your Blastoise's shell is really clean. I can't get the one on mine to look like that. What do you do?

Hey, Red! {{she waves excitedly, a broad grin on her face}} I know, right? I was talking to my Pokemon about it... I can barely remember back then. So long ago! We were all so short too.

Oh! I feed him these berries - they're grown near Mount Coronet in Sinnoh - they're really great for shell condition. I can get some for you.

[He nods his thanks with a smile.] Thanks. That would help a lot, Leaf.

[Camera pans over to Red's Blastoise who turns around so you can see his shell. It shows a lot of worn out scratches and scrapes. Red reaches up and pats it.] His shell is great for battles, but it's starting to get beaten up.

[Blastoise huffs. Red pauses for a moment, then leans closer to the camera.] Uh, he wasn't like this before. I think he likes showing off the injuries. That's cool but... I think it'll get bad if it's not taken care of.

{{laughs}} He's such a charmer. I'm very impressed, Blastoise. But you really should take care of that.

You know what we should do, Red? Go out some day and just catch a new Pokemon. Just to go through the fun of raising one again. Not to say that our Pokemon aren't fun anymore... but you know what I mean, right?
