Feels like we live in a bad dream,waiting to wake up...The past four days have been days of tension and anxiety...A 15 year old boy was  murdered by a policeman on Saturday and all hell broke loose from that moment...There are protests and riots everywhere...People who manifest against the unjust violence are mixed with those who destroy everything

I was really worried about you regarding the latest news from Greece (even though I knew you are studying in Komotini).

Things are just like that here. There was a protest about a polemic education law, and even though the protesters were right... I hate when people fight violence with more violence, thus leaving a bad image of both protesters and policemen.

Hope everything is solved there as quick as possible :)

This situation is pretty phenomenal...It's the first time we have so strong reactions,and it's all a result of the ongoing crisis,of the bad politics of the government,of all the supressed feelings...I just hope this was our way of hitting bottom,before we start going up again...Politics are so full of bigs words and TV presents the protesters as anarchists...We are all terified by what that cop did,but more from what's going on now...

We'll see how things are going to be from now on...Hope things get better here and all around the world...;-)

I've been reading about the riots in Greece, and the protests. This must go deeper than anger over a teenager's death surely? But it will quieten down, just keep yourself safe!

Oh,certainly it goes deeper than what what happened with that poor boy...Greece has been facing problems with the government politics for some time now...There are scandals that keep being brought up in the light and the disinterest towards the simple citizens is now more evident than ever...The murder of that boy was simply the last hit to an already troubled society...Unfourtunately there are these stupid people who think that by destroying things and by demonstrating more violence they manage a blow to this status...We are all scared for what will come next,as all these damages are going to be very difficult to be repaired...
