Hey guys,

I need to mail out the JET application tomorrow, but I just had a moment of panic about whether to specify preferences for placement or not? I would like to live in a suburban/urban area, but I don't know whether to be more specific than that? Do I have a better chance if I don't have preference at all? HLEP ME. D:

They don't usually listen to placement preferences. I like Kyoto. >:O Kinki area.... Mina is in Chubu and that seemed nice too. XDD But they don't listen. I just said "GIVE ME A SUBURB PLZ K THX" but they don't really pay attention, so don't worry too much?

ditto with nattie - the only time they really pay attention to placement preferences are when married people are asking to be placed together or something like that. also, don't get your hopes up on a suburban / urban area. XDD the trend nowadays is to place JETs more and more in the inaka.
