I'm really, really glad I ended up going to Meg's sleepover for a bit. Mom wasn't going to let me because it was "too late", but I triumphed! Gloria, Thara, and I found the treasure that's Alderman library tonight after dinner. There's nothing like walking down asles upon asles of books, some of them so old that they are bound by new cardboard cases with threads. *____________* It's the feel and smell of old books that's so...intoxicating.
