The victim's advocate called today and said the trial is on for next week. The defense lawyer tried to get another continuance yesterday, but the judge said no. So for anyone who wants to attend, do not show up monday. The jury selection will be monday morning and possibly into the afternoon. I will still take monday off (it's too late for me to cancel the day with the boss), but I am taking 2 hrs on tuesday (so I wont have to go in until 2pm and can stay longer). I would have taken the whole day off if I could, but only 2 hrs were available.
