A post out of nowhere

Hahah, finally gotten myself back onto LJ... How long has it been since the last update? A month? Two? XD

It was a fairly peaceful two months here, what with studies and such. The weather's gotten slightly colder, hitting a raw 9 degs on Friday night... Ugh, at least I'm not up at Coffs Harbour where it's flooded. *hums* Went skydiving almost a month ago, when Fufu came over for a visit. It was a really thrilling experience, and one that I wouldn't mind doing again. Somehow, it's comforting to just fall down from the air and feel yourself being weightless XDDDD Looking down at the coastline whilst freefalling, then floating along by the sea for minutes before landing. Yeah, everyone should try it at least once, just to get a feel of what it's like to be in the sky... Literally. That's discounting the nasty ear block I had due to the sudden change in pressures. Hahah, I look really ugly in the photos below, but who cares? Had a really good time there =D Wollongong's beach has got really pretty waves, and the good thing about it is that it isn't as crowded as it is in Bondi, or even Manly! A really nice place just to chill out, like what Candice, Benny, Fufu and I did =D

Falling tumbling whirling about...

Talk about scenic views!~

Floating out looking at the sea... Really nice! I'm glad we chose the Beach to skydive instead of the other one...

Finally landed! XDDDD

Had a celebratory dinner on Friday night after the last exam at Makoto's. I think we were really a rowdy bunch XDDD With Makoto being a relatively small and busy restaurant, the eleven of us had been a little difficult to accomodate, which is why we were seated at a small corner XDDD It had been a fun night out with everyone though, and Joseph's here to visit QQ, so it was a happy event for her in the least.

It was on towards the Mayday concert after that, and boy oh boy, was it an interesting experience! I'm not exactly a Mayday fan, having only listened to a small number of their songs, but when Pat asked if I'd wanted to go, I just thought, 'hey, I'm here for almost a year and haven't actually went for any concert! Why not just try?' It was worth the money, that I'd say. Heck, I'd never realized that they sounded this good live! I like the way the band members played their instruments. It's like, my idea of taiwanese yue tuans (*coughSHEcoughFarenheitcoughwhatever*) are bands with good looks, possibly a rare good voice, but that's about it. Mayday isn't exactly the type of group that I'd expected. No pretty boy there, but they've got talent in their respective spots. Mmmm, granted the drummer isn't exactly singer material, but his trying to belt out that chinese and hokkien song had been really cute XD Heheheh, not to mention forgetting the lyrics. Then their antics with the crowds. Awesome. Hahah, Wen-chu, you really should try heading for the concert, not a bad experience I must say =)

The four of us waiting for the concert to start!~

Hehehe, he really forgot the lyrics whilst singing. Funny, but endearing nonetheless!

A wonderful concert... Hope they do come back to Aussie next year. Might get to catch them again! XDDD

Now that's about it for my time at Aussie. A simple life, I must say. What to do? I'm a lazy pig who'd rather rot at home, that's why I'm not at Alice Springs at the moment. That, and the money factor I suppose... LOL.

Heard about Distant Worlds at Singapore, what a heartbreak for me... *whimpers* I just hope that they'll come over to Aussie within the next year whilst I'm here, that way, I can still catch it =P Kinda tough though... Sigh.

Psst, did I mention that I'll most probably be staying for another year here to do my Honours? XDDDD
