Thanks to a random posting by someone on one of the forums I go to a few days ago, we've stumbled upon some information on the internet regarding the condition of Misophonia. Misophonia is a condition where specific every-day sounds, most often chewing, cause a person to have an abnormal severe reaction, to a degree that it affects quality of life

I have been thinking about this since I read it last week. I shouldn't feel happy that he has this problem and I'm not. I am just so happy it has a name and a possible solution. It makes so much sense. It explains a lot of what I remember as a kid. If only I had known! I am so happy there is a therapist with in driving distance. I am so happy and hopeful that he will find relief.
