So, here are my thoughts:

Sometimes life not being easy doesn't come in the form of conflict, or the challenges you thought it meant. Sometimes, not having an outlet for creativity or intellect is a challenge and it causes conflict within oneself. I've worked crap jobs that I could do by using only my teeth; trust me, it gets frustrating.

If you want a challenge, you need to create one. It's not going to simply fall into your lap. Last year was my "year of living responsibly." While a lot of it had to do with learning to discipline myself and not ignore problems, it also had to do with deciding what I wanted, how to get it, and to go after it with a chance of failure. You need to create your challenge.

Also, you should keep in mind it's January, and January is depressing.

I don't think it's laziness. You're not lazy. I'm not saying you can't be lazy, but that lazy is not your default or usual state.
