Wow, I can't really say anything to that, other than list a couple good things that you have to look forward to...
- School's almost over. School sucks for most of us these days, but it is almost over and we can (sort of) get a second chance in the next semester.
- Christmas is coming up, which also means visits from out of town friends. >.o
- Semi-formal this Saturday, guest starring yours truly. (And Thumper. And Mark)
I'm really sorry to hear about all this terrible stuff, but try to keep your chin up. *hugs* Looking forward to finally seeing you again.
Oh yeah, something to hopefully make you laugh: I clocked Sam in the head so hard at Provincials that it apparently still hurt the next day. Also, I asked Sam this weekend to hit Davy for not coming to the Instructor/Assistant Instructor course; the next time I talked to Davy, he suddenly said "oh, by the way, sam hit me today, thank you". I meant that as a joke, but okay then!
Jitsu stories. Always good for a laugh. Speaking of Sam, at class last Friday he whacked me in the foot with a stick while disarming me, and stepped on my hair at the same time. He is the new Trent Jitsu Jerkface.
I'm doing alright right now, I'm just doing my usual up-and-down mood swing thing.
Know something I've noticed? He's totally Kenn's Bitch this year. Looks like the torch has been passed from Dan to Sam. And you could maybe take consolation in how apparently Andy keeps going for Sam's nuts whenever he makes him uke.
Yeah, gotta love the ups and downs. I'm mostly up these days, but still kinda lonely and missing a lot of Peterborough folk. I like it here a lot, but I keep missing you and Davy and Kenn and Terry and people like nuts-- plus all our older friends like Isaac and others. Sigh...
Oh yeah, Sam has definitely inherited the role of Sensei's Bitch this year. He's almost always the uke for new techniques, he carries the weapons bag around, it's awesome.
At least you're going to be back in town for Christmas soon, right? And maybe you could come back and work in Peterborough for the summer.
