Well, I'm on the wait list for St Lawrence, and I haven't heard from Ridgetown yet. It's good to have heard from St Lawrence at least, but unfortunately I won't know until sometime over the summer whether I'll actually be going there or not, which makes it hard to plan ahead

If it helps, I still distinctly remember almost being in tears one time at the Y as an orange belt, when Andy was grilling me on not doing Tai-otoshi right. I had already gotten my orange belt, but no matter how times I tried to do the damn throw, I kept fucking it up, feeling stupider and stupider with Andy telling me to get it right. I don't mind the orange throws, but they're definitely not my favourite set of throws, and I found some of them hard too

I'm feeling strangely confident about the grading again today, even though I missed tonight's class (and school yesterday, I feel like crap.) I finally got a chance to talk to Andy about my problem with drops on Tuesday, and he said it shouldn't really be a problem, as long as I keep trying, so that was encouraging.

Yay for inexplicable confidence; atta girl. And double yay for Andy being supportive and encouraging (woah).
