I'd really like to like and get to know you too (perhaps not in that order?) Right now it's at least as hard for me to be around Ja as it is for him to be around me. And I really do appreciate the way he's getting me set up, rent and billwise. I'm sorry that the way Jaysen and I ended up dealing with each other makes it so hard for you and I to connect. I know you have no free time, but could we perhaps meet sometime, sans Jaysen and kids? It maybe should be soon--Ja and I are getting along ATM, and it's always a precarious thing.

And Ray is like that with lots of people. I have no idea waht his criteria for liking/not liking are, but I certainly have done nothing I can think of to poison him against you.
