Oh god, I know how you feel with the insomnia thing.
Having a hot bath, or shower usually helps me to sleep, along with some scented lotion and a cup of tea. Also, not being around a computer or anything that'll keep your mind too occupied is probably better for now. :(
Even making sure you're comfortable in bed REALLY helps.
