Evan has decided.

So the chances of Evan continuing skating next season sound pretty good! I would love if he could skate forever, but unfortunately that's impossible.

I have to admit I am slightly worried about the placement of the US men at Torino. If things keep going the way they have been going with Jeremy's poor post-nationals performances

Part of me is sad that we won't get to see him compete again this season, and another is relieved that I won't be so stressed for Worlds. ;) I don't think he'd be so straightforward about still wanting to compete if he didn't plan on continuing for at least another year though, so that's comforting!

Oh man, I was just thinking about what the US men are going to do without him there. Well, fingers crossed that enough people pull out of Worlds that we can get some okay placements! ;)

I have to say I'm rather happy with his decision to leave the season off on a good note, plus - as you said - it's a hell of a burden off our nerves. :)
