AND SO IT BEGINS!

Unfortunately, the IceNetwork installation isn't working even on my new computer, so I have to resort to picking and choosing YouTube videos again. At least this time they aren't choppy!

Ladies

I watched Carolina. I've always liked her, so it's good to see her making a come back after that disastrous season. LOVE the new flamenco program! Hopefully she'll do better this season.

I also watched Kanako Murakami, Rachel Flatt, and Mao Asada. Yet again Mao ops for the dark, powerful music. Frankly, I'm getting quite sick of it. On the other hand, Kanako was ADORABLE. Definitely keeping an eye on her this season!

I was also disappointed with Rachel Flatt's short program. Yet again, she ops for what she's comfortable with--jazz, just like last year's SP. Is this trend around because it's the year directly after the Olympics? I suppose I understand that reason, but I'm automatically going to appreciate those skaters who try something new, despite the hard past season.

Pairs

I watched Pang and Tong, but that's all. I'm not an avid fan of pairs, but they're probably one of my favorites now that Shen and Zhao are gone. It was a nice program, a very nice throw-triple, and beautiful music!

Ice Dancing

I might watch more, but due to time restraints, I just watched Meryl and Charlie's "short" dance (I still prefer Original Dance). GORGEOUS! As always. I think the waltz feel is perfect for Meryl and Charlie looks adorable in the cravat. :D

In other news, I skipped my first class every today! I feel so rebellious.
