Writers of Shoujo, some things you need to stop doing.

Please writers of Shoujo just stop using the following plot devices. They aren't very good and they don't work. What they do do is make your work appear laboured, predictable and full of negative stereotypes

hah. I have been writing a similar post myself. Now we need a list of shoujo manga which are worth a read. You also forgot to add: if you can say it in 5-6 volumes, say it in 5-6, not 36.

True. Aiming at keeping something short mean you are more likely to be concise and to the point. So much shoujo ruins itself by saying nothing for volumes. I am not saying Shounen doesn't also drag on (Naruto, I am looking at you) but it doesn't tend to obliterate the story in the process.
