this article is so horrifically awful that I actually want to write to a huge ranty email to its author, something I almost never want to do.

It's so insulting that I'm wondering whether it is a joke, or if the author is really an extremely pissed-off, misogynistic man, masquerading as a woman to spread his message of hate and belittlement.

Yes, we shoudl just give up all pretence of wanting to ever do anything ever adn just embrace our true calling of smiling sweetly for the men and batting our eyelashes. I swear, I really didn't think people thought this way any more - at least not if they weren't a 90 year old ex-military conservative or something.

My boss admires Margaret Thatcher! Every time he goes off a political rant I have to chew the inside of my mouth to stop myself from screaming "OMG ARE YOU INSANE!?"

It's as if she's saying "hey no one should ever try and be good or get better at anything, just accept what you start with and shut up" I just found the whole thing really strange and quite a ridiculous viewpoint.

It was! My son told me he had posted me a card, no idea how he managed that as he's only 5 and doesn't understand about stamps. It could be anywhere :P
