As usual, Central cleaned out with over 40 special awards alone. Washington got 2. Stfu. I think we sent about 3 people anyway XD
Either way, I got first. Again. Go me? Yesh. Made a total of $200 this year. Very nice.
Aaaaaaaaaaaand, by the will of God, Boris Zinsheytheynszkdhta...
Zutsydwneteshsyn... Boris Z? (Jus' Kiddin' Dan), Boris Zinshteyn (Am I really the only person who can spell that name? Come on, it's like shitstain but with a Z) got not only the first place award, but beat out the one and only Mike Segal the Gold Medal, basically making him God of the Science Fair. THE GOD OF THE SCIENCE FAIR!!!
Yeah. I'm not that dorky, I swear...
And now to the thing I kinda wanted to rant about. When I came back from getting my $$$, Mrs. Liberman told me I looked like a ballerina, danseuse, whatever. When I asked why, she said it was partly because of my sloppy everything-shoved-back-into-a-bun hairstyle (I really didn't make any effort to look nice... I don't care enough), and partly because of the way I carried myself. Of course, as some may know already this isn't the first time someone has said something like that to me.
I'm going to be completely honest, 100% immodest and unpretentious
when I say that I've never really thought of myself as a graceful person. There really hasn't been any reason for me to think that I am. But ever since 8th grade I've had people telling me that there's just "something" about the way I walk/move. Has anyone else noticed this at all? Are these people just insane? Because it's rather confusing. I always thought I was clumsy. A little awkward at the very least. Apparently others think differently? Oiy.
Other than that, I really have been named an honorary Jew (courtesy of my big brother), and I'm going into AP Chem. next year according to my biology teacher. She chose for me while I was gone. Woo?
