The New Years party was a fairly mellow event. I was one of the first guests to arrive, and the turnout was small. I saw one co-worker from my area, though a few other UPS co-workers that I didn't know showed up. (With around 100 people in the building per shift it's impossible to know everyone.) Interesting combination that you're watching there, Geass R2 and Gundam 00. They're both great shows, though Geass R2 I didn't like as much as R1- they introduce too many characters and as a result the plot can't maintain focus, so they aren't developed as well as they could have been.

Gundam 00... first season is excellent, and if SciFi is broadcasting the second season right after the first, then you're in luck, since the second season is just as good, if not better than the first.

Yeah, it may seem odd to be watching two shows that are so alike but it's kind of refreshing. I'm liking R2 so far, but because I'm watching it in English I have to wait for Adult Swim to air new episodes, and they've been random as of lately. Ugh.

And so far Gundam 00 might be my all time favorite Gundam series. It's a fantastic break from the usual space colonies vs. forces on Earth, and I hope it stays that way.

All of those people playing didn't know that Ryu from Dead or Alive and Ninja Gaiden were the same? Even though they wear the same outfit? Huh, well that's interesting.

I heard good things about Gundam 00, but people seem to be split on Code Geass. Really split. Like one half thinks it's the best show ever, and the other thinks it's an embarrassment.

That ritual did make me laugh out loud, though I have a few family members who stuck to another ritual about who enters the house first. They say that if a man enters first, you'll have good luck for the rest of the year, and vice versa if it's a woman. I thought that one was funny, though afterward I considered how blatantly sexist it is. Have you ever heard of this ritual?

I'm not even sure if they've played Ninja Gaiden. Then again, I haven't either (the games look too difficult to enjoy) but I follow gaming news.

I think Gundam 00 is an excellent show, if it stays as good as it is, it might be my all time favorite Gundam. I think Code Geass is awesome, but I can also see why people don't like it. It can be over the top at times and the art style is interesting, but I think people should at least try it.

I dunno, I can't complain about the ritual, I'm not broke. XD Though I wish I had one for finding a job easier. And I've never heard of that one, ugh.

Yeah, Ninja Gaiden is very intimidating to anyone who doesn't play action games like that frequently. Even on the easiest difficulties.

Wow, that's amazing. I've been meaning to pick up Z Gundam, and I liked what I saw of G Gundam. I think I have to see how much Code Geass is over the top, but I like the character designs.

I wouldn't either if you think it's working. One for finding a job? I'll bet you that someone's on that at this very moment. My dad said he first heard of that ritual from his mother, but he thought it was silly.

Ugh, I'd probably have a hard time with it, I'd have to really like it to stay with it.

I'd have to read up on Z Gundam, but overall I'm not a huge Gundam fan. I'm surprised that I like Gundam 00 so much in that regard. I believe the already aired Code Geass episodes can be found on Adult Swim's site, in addition to YouTube. Some people I know hate the style, I think it's alright.

This is true about rituals. And I'd love to hear that ritual, without having to uh buy a book or something. It does sound like a silly ritual.
