Job hunting and video game playing. If only I could combine the two...

I've been in somewhat of a funk lately. I've been dejected at how I've not been working on my resume and getting job applications out. Everyday that I look at the news the job numbers become rather discouraging. I'm not unemployed but I'm tired of just being partially employed. Wishing you the best job-wise; after the MSNBC article I read today (as linked in my LJ), I can definitely understand your sense of dejection.

Question - what type of jobs are you seeking? Before I decided to stay in academia, I was glum about the lack of good jobs for a psych-major until I started plodding around more keenly. Then, I found that there were many opportunities open that I had never previously considered.

Good luck with finding a full-time job! Meanwhile, I'll continue to look for a job. I think I'm going to tune up my cover letter. Fun times! Let me know if you need help with your resume, if you do.

Nice to hear about you having fun with Persona 4. I'll get to it...someday. I just wrapped up Kirby Super Star Ultra, so I don't know what's next.
