The house selling process is a pain.

There's nothing quite like being woken up at 8am on a Saturday morning to find out people are stopping by to see the house later in the day. I suppose I really didn't need to sleep in, nor get on with my plans to do laundry and run some errands in the morning. At the very least, having people drop by motivated me to get dressed a tad earlier and to ( Read more... )

When we were selling the lake house we had people dropping in with the realtors without even calling. I was sick in bed and half naked and there's people in my bedroom! D:

At least your student loans aren't as bad as some, but best of luck in getting some full time work. Seems like that's hard to come by these days, I haven't had work in 6 months ;P

Yikes! For all of that trouble I hope you sold the lake house okay. We require people to give us some notice, 24 hours if they can help it, but at times all we get are 15 minutes.

They aren't, I figure they add up to the price of a brand new mid-sized car, not a bad deal for an education. And yeah, damned recession. Good luck with finding work too, Thorn. *nods.*

For Damage Control? Sure thing, I'd love to have you aboard, you have some pretty cool opinions.

As for freelancing, I plan to open it soon. I just need to sit down and think of some good guidelines and perhaps run them by my right hand man, geofflb. When I do open freelancing you'll be the first one I contact. ^__^

Here's hoping you didn't like privacy!

Whenever I hear stories about people having their house looked at for sale, I always wonder what the owners do while people are browsing around in it. So, do you feel like you're a mannequin on display at a museum?

Here's hoping she doesn't remove her cap! Or that someone else doesn't remove it.

They try not to be home. If they are home, they try to ignore the said people browsing the house, although it's really hard to. I personally prefer not to be home.
