Dentist Visits Always End in Pain, or the Promise of Pain...

I managed to make it to my dentist appointment this morning. The doctor poked around at a wisdom tooth and informed me that it was growing in such a way that it impacted my gums. In effect my gum is actually covering part of the tooth. While the pain can be treated with medicine it will have to be removed in order to prevent rotting and infection.

Both teeth are poking out. The lower right side has been out for a number of years, while the left side (which is causing me the pain) just came out to say "hi." X_x And I was wondering about holes after surgery. Ugh.

Taking a day or two off from work definitely sounds like a good idea.
