You are the rock salt of the Earth

Christmas and the following days certainly did pass by quite quickly. I thought I'd be spending more of my time online updating but I found myself reading the latest Sholan Alliance novel and playing on my DS instead ( Read more... )

Hmm... I guess I could always see if anything is available here in Philly during the summer.

Have a great New Year's! ^^ As for not parking in snow-drift prone areas, I have a better moral - move to a place that doesn't see snow. ;-)

I've already lived in a place without snow, Nex. It was too hot, so we came back. Though if I had to choose between Florida and Arizona I might pick Arizona. Phoenix was a nice place to live but summer temperatures in the 110+ range was a bit much.

Whoa.

You're posting here again?

By the way, I never knew the full name for the original "For Colored Girls" play. The movie's title is a complete downgrade, not to mention it completely twists the meaning, so I could imagine the overall play being better.

When I can! Well, you know about my net problems, so that's where I've been for a week.

Really? I did remember hearing about the play back at one of my classes at Temple. I thought maybe I'd give the book a try but never got around to it. Shame my first exposure to this work was in the form of this awful movie. And yet people like said movie! I think I will have to give the play a try.

I'd never heard of the play before. When I heard the name "For Colored Girls" I immediately rolled my eyes and decided to ignore it, but just the name for the play is vastly more interesting. I could imagine how much better the script is. If I had worked on the play, I would have been insulted by the movie, I think.
