Ireland, sadly, is not as interesting as the other parts of Europe because I am by nature the quiet, solitary homebody sort and not prone to getting so drunk that I almost die from alcohol poisoning and humping anything that moves (slowly enough that it can't run away) unlike the majority of the Irish first years I've met.

But I sort of like to view my life like a series of challenges. What happens happens and you just need to avoid having cliff edges crumble beneath your feet. Sometimes, it happens.

Sometimes, you ignore the warning signs.

And sometimes, you really shouldn't ignore the very graphic warning signs about being swept away to see.

Climb a gate.

And walk down a reaaaaaaalllllly long causeway.

I only turned back because they got all SERIOUS about the gates and started putting up spikes.

I thought this was pretty unsporting. :/

But really, the gorgeous sunset was sort of worth the pain and strife and hobbling about on my greviously injured knee.

Unfortunately, I am too ninja to be captured.

Also, this is a nice picture of a very large rock. It was randomly set in a circular little park, had no signs and is possibly used for virgin goat sacrifices beneath the full moon.

Though the guide did say something about how a lot of weird rocks were moved about during the last ice age and just left there. The Irish are strange folks.

Personally, I am fond of the cliffs.

Though they're apparently deadly.

And also their beaches.

Which totally did not stop my going down the exceptionally steep, old and rickety steps down to the shore anyway.

Ireland is kinda a picture post card. :D;

With God!

And stony hills as well as grassy knolls.

That of course, I climbed. Even on my traumatically injured knee. (Traumatically injured because in my infinite wisdom, strolling down a pier, I managed to slip and almost die on seaweed, skinning off a huge chunk of knee and since I am the type of explorer most likely to be seen in the news since I like to wander about on my own, proceeded to spend about an hour sitting and sulking over it. Before limping to a pharmacy and then afterwards, eating an entire packet of chocolate biscuits. I am weak. So, so weak.)

But really.

You just can't be too unhappy standing on a cliff edge.

Please ignore how terrible I look in the photos. XD; Being a billion hours on the bus does not agree with me. At ALL.

I will um. Write up a proper update, yes. XD; Soon. About school! And life! And the people I have met! :D;;; .. .. ... .. soon. >__>
