About Tsuruhime: I'm not sure about her - it's quite amusing I guess, especially how completely UNIMPRESSED Kotaro goes *poof* every time she tries to glomp him. But. Ugh. I'm an audiophile. I just. Can't. Stand. Her. Voice. Gah. And her happy little J-pop Idol music is *shudder*.
I think what makes me like Oichi and Magoichi is their voice actresses. Generally, I think they did a very good job in SenBasa this time.
XD I guess it's flattering in a very uh.. special sort of way. Very very special. *cry*
I adore her and I totally ship the two of them together jkkjajkwe Twilight ninjaaaaa! but I think I have a warped sense of what is sweet. XD Besides, he does save her ass a grand total of four times. Her theme actually grew on me because it encapsulates her innocence in the chaos - I adored her story progression and the painful way she was forced to grow up, even as scared as she was of the conflict.
Oichi's voice actress is my favourite this time around. :'D But, yeah, everyone was pretty spectacular BAR KENSHIN, OH MY GOD KJKJJKAWE and it does my heart good to know that Yukimura's VA used to be a power ranger. The universe, it is amazing. ♥ Magoichi's VA sounds almost exactly the same in the Japanese except in uh, Japanese XD
XD I think it's mostly my aversion to pink and this cute, hyper and bubbly schoolgirl kinds of characters which makes me go 'eep'. But I guess they would add up nicely, personality-wise. As in: Her personality develops and he has none XD Besides, this schoolgirl/fangirl crush is quite adorable XD
Oichi's VA just nails the pure desolation, depression and hopelessness it's downright creepy Oo One of my favorites is Tenkai - that guy goes from deceivingly gentle-voiced to irony to axe-crazy in seconds XD
Masamune really loses through the absence of his ridiculous Engrish, but there's no was avoiding it. Aniki is a bit too cool, he's bit more of a spazz in the Japanese version XD
But seriously - Kenshin? While his Japanese voice actress can pull the androgynous voice off quite nicely, this English thing... I don't even know if it's a an or a woman! (That VA's name doesn't help either) - I just know that he sounds like a stern, pissed off granny Oo Cree~py
XD I think Fuuma's silences can, at times, be very expressive BUT ONLY THE REALLY DUBIOUS SILENCES, AHAHA but we'll seeeee.

I... have you played Tsuruhime's green and blue routes? I dunno, can you call aniki anything but like, a MAJOR SPAZZ? I cried laughing. But, I do adore their British accents, because Motochika being a really well spoken pirate amuses me.

:'D The interaction is... hm, I would say comparable. You get a few individual lines, but the multiple routes gives you more... possibilities instead of the single route that SW gives you.

I think basara has more character development (and possibly also more character interaction?) but saa, musou has my heart.
