I totally feel the same way with WWII movies.
I think it's because there was a common enemy back then, as terrible as that statement sounds.

Whosoever you may be, I want you to know that maybe it is so already. Unless you catch me on a bad day, I have regained my tolerance, for now. So now it is upon your shoulders to lose the anger, or gain a little tolerance.
