[Ritz is temporarily riding on Andre's back; just because she can walk doesn't mean she wants to in this kind of weather.] Interesting name it's got... [Sounds sort of familiar...]
I don't know that it wouldn't be known on others - I know there's some similar worlds, but not if they have the same gods. [He's carefully putting a hand on the Trapinch's head, and gets a small weird purr out of it.]
Ah - so she was someone you knew, then? [Cecil has been ... less hostile than some of the others that apparently were a part of that "Cycle", at least...]
I see... [He pets the Trapinch's head thoughtfully.] I'll take care to see that he gets the care he deserves - and if she does come back, that he's returned, all parties willing. [He has no reason to have any animosity towards the pokémon, after all, and less reason to jeopardize people being inclined to treat him decently now that he has a second chance.]
So they're left behind when someone leaves... [The Trapinch, at least, seems content now that there's someone there again.] I suppose it's not too surprising; other worlds work differently, and they may not survive as well.
I'll have to check if anyone knows anything - it does seem unusual for something to have separated him this badly.
[He's checking the Gear, watching the screen with it pointed at the Trapinch -]
Trapinch's nest is a sloped, bowl-like pit dug in sand. This Pokémon patiently waits for prey to tumble down the pit. Its giant jaws have enough strength to crush even boulders.
...a miniature antlion named Bahamut. [A little odd, but.]

...That girl disappeared a few days ago. If Bahamut has found his way to you, you must be the most suited to train him now.

[Disliking a comrade's Chaos-sided sibling would be rather hypocritical of him, really.]

Mmm. This is their home, after all; perhaps it's more that we're lucky to have them for the time we're here.
