Pansy lies on the bed, her legs waving about in the air as she writes.

March 8th

He brought me a present today. A puffskein I've called Grand Duchess Poofles, or Poof for short. She'll keep me company while hubby is off supporting the family and all that.

Poof is very! darling! I know he thinks so too. Despite his grumbles. (V. Cute grumbles, actually.)

She stills the fluffy purple quill and glances to the left where Lucius is carelessly lost in The Effects of Goblin Rebellions on Wizarding Economies. His long hair is loose and falling haphazardly over his bare shoulders.

"Isn't that the third time you've read that dull old thing?"

"Fifth," Lucius answers without looking up. "A favourite."

Pansy smiles.

He really is such a stuffy old bore. Ridiculous hair too. Maye I could charm it off during the night sometime. Hah! Imagine his face!

Snickering at the thought, Pansy pokes her lover's side.

"You'd look funny bald." She grins.

"So would you."

"You already look funny so hah."

He has a huge nose. I hope he doesn't pass that on to...

"Careful you don't crush the baby, laying about on your stomach all day long," Lucius says. He closes his book and sets it on a side table with his glasses. Instantly, Pansy flips over onto her back.

"Do you think I've harmed it?!"

She puts both hands on her flat stomach, feeling around, her voice quickly becoming a shriek.

"It's still early, isn't it?! And I've got all this fat to shield it and..."

Lucius is grinning. He pulls her into a silencing kiss, but Pansy pulls away after a moment.

"You were teasing!"

"Mmmhmm..." Lucius' voice is muffled by her shoulder. His kisses trail down her collarbone to her breasts, navel... For a moment, Pansy lets her eyes close. She shivers pleasantly, smiles and sits up, pushing Lucius off.

"Just a second. I need to finish this."

I love him so much!!!!

Without a thought, Pansy pushes the diary and quill off the bed, where a stray drop of ink will stubbornly leave its mark on the rug.

"I hate you!"

The brandy glasses smashed against the wall one by one, sending a storm of jagged crystals down around Draco's head, complete with roaring thunder.

"I hate your smirking weasel lips and your stupid pointed nose and, and... your whole bloody horrid face! You RAT!"

Pansy glared at him, her whole body ready to explode with rage, to take him down with her, to watch his rat face be ripped apart.

She hated him for making her like this, a hulking, brash disaster amid the polished hardwood floors and the elegantly bound books along the walls. Those damn books. Pansy hatted them too.

The first few followed the glasses, just missing Draco's pasty, blonde head, but soon Pansy was throwing them indiscriminately, out the door, out the window or onto the floor.

"You think I'm blind, Mr Malfoy?! Deaf? Dumb?! You think I don't know where you go at night? That would be convenient for you! Well, maybe you should have married Daphne if you wanted dumb complacency! Or Millicent! You could have lovely rat-faced cow children together!"

Unaffected, Draco didn't look up from his desk.

"You always ignore me!"

Pansy wretched her wedding band off her finger and flung it at her husband. It hit him between the eyes and rolled onto the floor by her foot.

"Are you done now?"

Draco stood up from behind the desk, sneering but calm.

For a long time no one moved, the room quiet save for Pansy's quick, shallow breaths. Slowly, he eyes slid from his face to the ring on the ground. She hurried to pick it up.

"Sorry," she mumbled, pushing her hair back away from her face. Draco set ack to his papers and didn't respond.

"I'll... send Dixy to clean up. I'm Sorry. I don't know what I... I know you work so hard and... I'll have a snack sent up for you, okay?"

Pansy's voice shook behind her strained smile. Draco dismissed her with a gesture, a dismissive wave.

"Try to remember I only eat whole wheat bread bread after three, this time, yeah?" Draco muttered, disgruntled.

Pansy was already gone.

Both over 250 words.
