Something kind of funny I thought about today while I was editing some work that I brought home- I wanted to work in the video game industry, thinking it'd be all fun and games, but in fact I have way less time to game than before I started my job.

I have a friend who is also very heavily into gaming. After he started his job at EA a few years ago, he doesn't play video games as much anymore. XP

What's your friend do at EA?

It is kind of ironic about the people who go into the gaming industry because they love playing, and then ultimately having to play less because they're so busy.

He is a game tester. I think his official title is QA something. QA tester, I think. I'm not sure. I haven't been in touch with him lately.

Oh, that would make sense if he was in QA. My bf was in it for a while, and yeah, after playing a game for eight hours, I can definitely understand how playing anything at home wouldn't be appealing.

That is some suckage in regards to having less time to game. Life just sort of does that to people, doesn't it...

Man, I think we'd have a bomb together at Game Works or some arcade like that. In a perfect world, all of my friends would be living closer to Seattle. XD
