While I was waiting for an oil change today (regular car upkeep is cheaper than big repairs); I calculated out that I can cover my monthly expenses with around $200 left over- that's for saving, my loan, if my car explodes, etc etc. However! I can still pay all my bills and that's awesome

I'm glad that things are looking better than you thought they were. It's never a fun thing to have to worry about where the money is going to be coming from to cover expenses. I hope that things turn around for you soon!

Also, the red beans and rice sounds delicious. :)
