I guess you could say I'm settled into my place. I've got a routine now, at any rate.
From left to right, standing at my front door: the kitchen with a tiny sink, two person bar, my futon-couch, coffee table (where I do all of my eating), the tv. The door on the wall with the tv leads to the closet, which you go through to get to the bathroom.
It's really pretty up here, reminds me of my aunt's place up in Seattle. It's also cold to me-- the temperature isn't, but living close to water makes it feel worse than it is. Of course, anyone east of California would call me a baby. And it'd be true.
My work is very close to my studio-- that was a major factor in why I chose it. There's a nice park with a trail next to my apartment, and a grocery store across the street. There's also the coolest library on the way to my work, I usually pick up a couple DVDs on the way home from work. It's all honestly, pretty cool- just kinda lonely since I'm up here on my own. Not just Paul, but all my friends back ins Southern California. Still, I'm glad I made the move- I would have regretted if I hadn't.
At least I have quality time to read some good books and watch movies I haven't seen yet. I'm finding that I have a major crush on Adrian Brody in Darjeeling Limited.
