Well I've been trying to do 30 minutes of around 6km pace, think I should cut down on the pace or time?

Are you stretching your legs before you walk? If not, you probably should if you're having cramps. (and again afterwards)....then of course a couple times a week do strengthening exercises.

Yep.....I know all the right things to do, I just don't bother. How awful!

I made sure to stretch a LOT today before I went on and managed to do another 15 minutes more than I had been! What kind of stengthening exercises do you mean?

When I was pregnant I stopped the horrific cramps in my calves by taking calcium and magnesium supplements. The calcium prevents cramping and the magnesium helps you absorb the calcium (apparently). It worked wonders for me anyway - worth a try?

Anything is worth a try! Hmmmm the only place I can get to during the week is Tescos, maybe they'll have some branded ones.
