It is said that a real writer is not the person who writes because he wants to. A real writer is the one who writes because he can't do otherwise. He must write or he won't find peace until the words in his mind, that struggle for freedom, are finally expressed on paper.
I write for none of those reasons. I write because the world must know what I have done- you must know- and how I paid for it. It was a high price indeed: my freedom, my soul and now my life, but it had to be paid.
Next to this note you will find a book- story of my life that I have written in the past year. A story without hidden meaning and play on words. Only the truth and nothing but the truth.
Read it. It might be the end of how you see me, but I want you to do this nevertheless.
If I was here at this moment, you would probably ask me "Why are you doing this? You redeemed yourself, you have your life back, even your love. What else is there?"
And I would tell you: "I want forgiveness". Forgiveness that can only be given by one man and one alone.
Only he can't give it- dead men don't talk.
And so I must follow him to the other side.
